Trip to Pennsylvania

Hey Lady!!

Well, you have been a traveler lately! We went to Pennsylvania a few weeks ago on the 10th. My Gram (Great Grandma) fell and broke her hip and wasn't doing well so we took a trip to see her and our other Gram (Gram Coslo) with Mom, Aunt Susan and Granddad. You were the BEST girl ever! You didn't cry the whole 12 hours we were in the car. Can you believe it?! I was sooooo proud of you! You didn't cry the whole way back either. You just made faces and napped and were a happy baby.

We had a busy trip. We got there Monday really late and then we were really busy on Tuesday and left Wednesday morning. I took lots of pictures (of course):

The first picture is our car ride and the second is the next morning. you were ADORABLE.

We went to see Gram Clark first at Foxdale. She was 97 years old and still had her humor in her, she was an amazing lady.

Then, we went over to Bellefonte which is where Gram Coslo used to live. I used to go there every summer on vacation and it's a beautiful town. We went to the park and took a picture by the train station. One day we will go back there so you can ride the train! You'll love it. I did it when I was a kid!

After that we went to Altoona to see Gram Coslo. She is 87 years old and has Alzheimer's. She is one of the best people I have ever known. So loving and funny and caring. We had a really special relationship when we used to visit her every summer. Mom introduced you to her and I got to take a picture of it. It's an awesome picture.

Aunt Judy was with us (that's Nonnie's Aunt) and she got to hold you and spend time with you. Then we met her daughter Rachel for lunch at Olive Garden and she held you too but then you got hungry so you got cranky. :)

Before we left the next day we went and drove through Penn State's campus. We tried to get a picture with their lion statue but it was under construction so we took a picture at a sign. We will definitely go back there too when you're older!!

Here are some photos from our trip home. I was so proud of you and so happy I could experience that with you and that you could meet your Great GREAT grandmothers! Not many people can say that they've done that. You are one blessed girl.

This is you the next morning, you were TIRED!

I loveeeeeee you!!

Your first Trip to Ringgold

Hey beautiful girl! Well this past week we took your first trip to Ringgold, GA to see your family. It was a great trip! We left on Wednesday night and you slept the whole way. We got to Aunt Judy and Uncle Shannon's at about 4am and we took a nap before going to visit a lot of your family for the next few days.

On Thursday we went to see Aunt Candi at the court house and she just loved you a lot. Then we went to visit with Ms Jordan.

Because we visited around Memorial Day, Ringgold had flags out for all the men who died during wars. Your Granddaddy (your Dad's grandpa) has a flag so you and your Dad posed for a picture beside it.

We stopped by to see your cousin Kyle at work at Ace Hardware and then headed over to see Granddaddy and Gail (Gigi). They couldn't believe how small you are. They loved you so much.

We had a great, long visit with Granddaddy.

On Friday we went to lunch with Pat and Jill and your Memaw.

After that we went to your Aunt Rhonda's for dinner with a bunch of the family. They passed you around and held you and spent time with you the whole night.

Saturday was your cousin Savannah's graduation so we went to that and it was HOT but you did so well and looked so pretty. I was so worried about you that I got sunburned! haha

We went to some flea markets and bought you some really adorable headbands!

Daddy took us to see your Granny and PawPaws grave and you guys took a picture next to it.

Later that night we went to dinner with the family to celebrate and there was more passing you around and loving you!

We had such a great time even though it was a short trip. We will be going back more because we want you to know your family really well and have you grow up loving them just like they love you.

Today we had your 2 month check up. You had to get three shots. It made me sad because you cried but you were such a big, brave girl. You have been sleeping ever since, I'm sure it was traumatizing for my sweet girl. You are 8lbs, 6 oz now and 22 inches long. You're so big now!

I love you so much! I can see you growing in front of my eyes and it makes me so happy and so sad at the same time!
