Playing Catch Up

Hey Little Lady, 

It's been awhile since I've posted so this one will be a long one because we have a lot to cover. 

Let's talk about my favorite subject first... YOU! You're getting SO big. I can feel you kicking around every day and it makes me so happy. Daddy felt you kicking last Saturday morning when i accidently set our alarm for 6:30 instead of 7:30. We woke up and you were kicking and he started to sing to you and you kicked a few more times until we fell asleep again. It was so nice for him to feel you getting stronger and stronger. My tummy is getting bigger every day! I love to feel you kick because I know you're ok and growing. 

We've been taking classes at the hospital. We practiced wrapping you in blankets and diapering you and we took a birthing class to talk about how you'll come into the world. We can't wait to meet you and are counting down the days. We have a doctor appointment tomorrow so hopefully we will get to hear you again and get an update on how you're doing. 

We have been painting at the house, getting our room ready and then we'll get your room ready. We picked out the paint and have an idea of what we want to do but still have to get it done. We are also putting up a fence for Donkey this week and laying down new floor so when you're messy (haha) it won't matter! I can't wait to get everything done because it means we'll be closer to meeting you! 

I didn't get to write about Chattanooga much, we visited with your family and Granddaddy bought us your stroller and carseat which was super exciting. You should have seen us trying to put it together, it was too funny! We also got a blanket from your Great Aunt Reba and some other stuff for you. We love getting stuff for you. Daddy picked out a really soft blanket that you'll probably have to fight him for and I got you a pretty, soft pink one this past weekend too. You'll have plenty of blankets. 

Well I think that's all I wanted to write for now. Just know that we love you so very much and can't wait for you to get here so we can start our little family. You are so loved baby Reagan... not only by us (mommy and daddy) but everyone else too! So just remember that.

Sometimes your daddy is so frustrating but sometimes he's the sweetest man I know. I have been sleeping on the couch the past two nights to try to be comfortable because you are making it hard to sleep, little one. So instead of sleeping in the bed alone daddy has been sleeping downstairs on the other couch with me. He's such a good man. The boys slept down there too! Louie slept with daddy and stewie slept on top of my sofa and donkey slept in the chair. I love my little family and I can't wait until you're officially a part of it!! Only a few more weeks!

HELLO REAGAN THIS IS YOUR DADDY

Well we just got home from visiting all your uncles and aunts and great uncles and aunts and all your cousins in Georgia. Oh how they can't wait to see you and hold you and spoil you. We got a lot of cloths and blankets. Granddaddy got you a stroller and car seat and a base that your car seat goes in so you will be safe when mommy and me are driving you around. Mommy has an app on her phone and it tells us what you are doing in her belly and how big you are and it says you are the size of a egg plant its a big purple vegetable. I can't wait to see you and spoil you and spend all the time that I possibly can with you of course we are going to have to play with the boys to your 3 furry brothers Stewie, Louie, and Donkey. Stewie and Louie are your cats and Donkey is your Dog and they all love you Stewie and Louie always lay on your mommy's belly so they can feel you kick. Mommy says you been kicking a lot I just wish I could feel you kick every time you kick. I know I will feel you.   Well its late mommy is asleep and I am going to clean the liter box its were Stewie and Louie go to the bathroom............

Painting and snow

Your Aunt Rhonda and Collin painted letters for your room last night! They had a lot of fun and I can't wait to hang them all up.

It snowed today some too so I took a picture of the snow on you.

Merry Christmas baby!

Merry Christmas Eve sweetheart!

We have been busy these past few days. We got you a few outfits, a great book daddy picked out and something for your room. We can't wait until next year when you will be here as we get to doeverything with you.

Daddy felt you kick this weekend. You mostly kick around 10am and then sometimes in the afternoon or at night. I was so glad he got to feel you again. Hopefully you will keep being active so he can keep feeling you. I know he loves it. He tried to "kick" you back to get a reaction but you didn't fall for that!

Anyway I wanted to say hi and you just kicked as I was typing this. Precious girl.

We saw you today!

Today was our doctors appointment. We got lots of great pictures of you. It's so exciting. I had to change all kinds of positions to get a picture of your profile. You were hiding. You like to hide your face near my back. It was so fun to watch you move around though. We saw your arms and legs and a foot.

I love you so much Reagan and I can't wait to finally meet you. I feel like I won't feel so alone sometimes when you're here. I can't wait to experience everything with you and take you everywhere. I love you more than I could ever express and I cherish every time I feel you kick!

Daddy's new favorite thing

Daddy felt you kick this weekend!! It was Saturday morning and we were going to get up and start our day at the lake but I felt you kick so Daddy jumped on the bed and felt you right by my belly button! Then he laid his arm across my belly and you punched/kicked it. He said it was better than his most favorite thing in the whole world which is saying a lot. I may have shed a tear. I'm just SO glad he got to feel you and I hope he gets to feel you more now.

We get to see you tomorrow! Let the countdown begin. I just can't wait.

Oh and this weekend your cousin Mckenzie tried to tickle you. She lifted up my shirt and was tickling my belly. It was so cute. You two will have so much fun together!
