Mother's Day!

Yesterday was Mother's Day and it was awesome! 

Daddy let me sleep in and then we had lunch and I got to open my presents from you guys. You got me a gift card to a massage place and a beautiful mother/daughter necklace. 

Then we had dinner with Memaw and big daddy and went to the beach where mommy and daddy got married and took pictures. I'll cherish these forever! 

Today you went to the dr and we went for a walk. I got this adorable picture of you in the car. 

We went to dinner with Noni, papa, aunt Brittany and Cody on Saturday. 

Remember that I love you, always and forever!! 

6 weeks

Hello Reagan I have been slacking on writing to you . You are here and I tell you how I feel about you and what I am thinking but I guess your little and want remember what I tell you now. So guess that's why this blog is here lol. When you were born on April 3 at 10:56 pm it was a time an date I will never forget the day that the nurse said dad do you want to hold your daughter and I cried only a little I have wanted you my whole life and now I had you. I drove you home from the hospital I was a proud father I still am everyday. Everyone loves you and don't want to give you up I don't blame them. You sleep good me and mommy need to get better at our sleeping habits lol I love you and going to try and be the best dad in the world I better get to sleep I am sure you will be up in a few hours I love you Reagan LeeAnn Childers love daddy

Sleepy girl and me rambling...

 I love that I get to watch you sleep. You look so peaceful and yours beautiful. Love you sweet girl. 

This is how you were sleeping earlier with me. I love when you sleep with me even more than in your crib. I hope I get to cherish moments like that forever. That's my arm... Hehe. 

We went to visit ms David today and then spent some time at Noni's house. Kiki, their cat was staring at you and sniffed you. It was cute. 

Last night we went to dinner with Noni, uncle Todd, aunt Susan and Paige. Aunt Susan gave you a bottle. 

You wore a special outfit for your grandpas.

Hello Love

Hey Beautiful,

I'm not going to write about what we do everyday unless we do something exciting! I just wanted to drop by and say that I love you so much. I can see you growing each day. You spend more time awake and I love that. I get to look into your eyes and hold you and make you stand and see you hold your head up and look around with those big, GORGEOUS eyes and i just fall in love even more. I have seen you smile a few times and it makes me want to cry because it makes me so happy. I just love to see it. I love spending time with you. Even at 4am when you wake up screaming, as soon as I have you in my arms everything is right with the world.

I wanted to recap what we did this past week. I think we left off on last Wednesday. I don't think we did much on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday we went to get you some pants that actually fit! It was very exciting! Your little butt is so cute in them. hehe.

On Saturday we went to Aunt Brandy's house for her housewarming party and then Ruth and Daniel came over to visit with you and watch movies with me and Daddy.

On Sunday we went over to Noni's house and had dinner and you got to spend time with them.

Yesterday we went for a walk around downtown Summerville. I got to wear you in the carrier we have and it was so nice! We went for a walk with Donkey last week and Daddy wore the carrier so I was glad I got to.

Today we went and ran errands with Daddy and then Noni came over to visit.

Friday was your one month-versary! I put you in your outfit and we took lots of pictures. It was so fun! I can't wait to put all these pictures together that I take of you for you to see one day.

I'll try to remember to post pictures soon. This computer is acting up. :(

Last Week

We left off on last Tuesday. On Wednesday we just hung out at our house.

On Thursday, Tiffany visited you and we hung out with her for a long time. 

 

On Friday, we went to see your new Dr, Dr Kim and you had gained even more weight!! You're 6lbs 7oz now, yay!! She said you looked perfect. Then, we went to Elloree because your Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Ronnie came down to see you. On Friday we spent time with them and it was the first time you slept through the night. You slept from 8pm until 7:30am! It was crazy!! On Saturday, we spent most of the day at Stumphole and then went to the gray house for a cookout. Everyone was so excited to see you. You met your Uncle Bubba and cousin Mckenzie that day too. Big Daddy made you a bassinet out of a basket and everyone thought it was ridiculous but Mommy and Daddy knew it would work, and it did! 

Sunday was a sad day for our family. It marked one year since your Nana passed away. You won't ever get to meet her on this Earth but she was the smartest, nicest, most amazing woman that I've ever met. She would have spoiled you rotten! You would have loved her. I wish everyday that she could see you in person but I know she's watching over us. We will tell you all about her when you're older. Noni was sad that day so I wanted to make sure you got to spend time with her and we went to Nana's grave to think about her. It was your first time there. 

Sunday was also the first night you slept in your crib instead of in our room. We were SO nervous! We watched you a bunch on the monitor but you did so well and we were so proud of you... (and ourselves!)

Yesterday was Monday and we stayed home and then went grocery shopping. You had another blowout in Walmart! It took Mommy and Daddy to get you all cleaned up... I'm beginning to think you don't like Walmart (the picture above is from Monday morning).

Today, we went to Noni and Papa's house for dinner and you slept with Noni in her chair. It was really nice. 

You are the sunshine in our sometimes dark world, Reagan. You're what keeps us going and why Daddy and I work everyday to be happy and love you!! 

This weekend

On Saturday we went to see Brandy at the ball field and she compared the size of your head to a softball! They are about the same size! Then you met Grandpa and we went to Nonnies for dinner. You were very fussy but daddy finally got you asleep. (First 4 pics)

On Sunday we just hung out at home and Aunt Susan and Uncle Todd came by to visit. (6th pic)

On Monday we went to a few stores and walked around with daddy and had dinner with Aunt Brittany and Cody at Cracker Barrel. You weren't feeling well that night so we made you an appt to go to the doctor early and watched you through the night. (5th pic)

Today we went to the dr and you have gained weight! You are 6lbs 4ozs! Yay, what a big girl! The dr said he doesn't see babies as alert as you are at your age. You're such a smart girl! Now you are sleeping and Mommy and Daddy just finished dinner. (Last pic)

Oops, catch up post!

So I have three days to catch up on.

The 17th was your two week mark! We went to see mommys doctor and to lunch with Nonnie. We hung out with daddy the rest of that day.

The 18th daddy had to work so you and I spent time together until he got home before 2pm and then we all napped. Ruth came by to see you that night.

Today we gave you a bath and went tithe strawberry festival at Boone hall. You slept the whole time! We also went to your first restaurant - the Chinese buffet on rivers. The waitress kept asking questions about you. You were such a good girl! You just had a bottle and are about to go to sleep I think.

We love you so much. I love seeing you with your daddy. He kisses you and talks to you and he just looks so comfortable with you - like you were made to fit right in his arms. Everything feels perfect when the three of us are together. I love the moments when I get to hold you and cuddle with you because I know those moments won't last forever. One day you will be a big girl and not want to cuddle with me anymore. I love when the three of us are together because our family feels complete. You were the one thing missing at all the festivals we went to and all the nights at home on the couch. Now you're here!
