Trip to Pennsylvania

Hey Lady!!

Well, you have been a traveler lately! We went to Pennsylvania a few weeks ago on the 10th. My Gram (Great Grandma) fell and broke her hip and wasn't doing well so we took a trip to see her and our other Gram (Gram Coslo) with Mom, Aunt Susan and Granddad. You were the BEST girl ever! You didn't cry the whole 12 hours we were in the car. Can you believe it?! I was sooooo proud of you! You didn't cry the whole way back either. You just made faces and napped and were a happy baby.

We had a busy trip. We got there Monday really late and then we were really busy on Tuesday and left Wednesday morning. I took lots of pictures (of course):

The first picture is our car ride and the second is the next morning. you were ADORABLE.

We went to see Gram Clark first at Foxdale. She was 97 years old and still had her humor in her, she was an amazing lady.

Then, we went over to Bellefonte which is where Gram Coslo used to live. I used to go there every summer on vacation and it's a beautiful town. We went to the park and took a picture by the train station. One day we will go back there so you can ride the train! You'll love it. I did it when I was a kid!

After that we went to Altoona to see Gram Coslo. She is 87 years old and has Alzheimer's. She is one of the best people I have ever known. So loving and funny and caring. We had a really special relationship when we used to visit her every summer. Mom introduced you to her and I got to take a picture of it. It's an awesome picture.

Aunt Judy was with us (that's Nonnie's Aunt) and she got to hold you and spend time with you. Then we met her daughter Rachel for lunch at Olive Garden and she held you too but then you got hungry so you got cranky. :)

Before we left the next day we went and drove through Penn State's campus. We tried to get a picture with their lion statue but it was under construction so we took a picture at a sign. We will definitely go back there too when you're older!!

Here are some photos from our trip home. I was so proud of you and so happy I could experience that with you and that you could meet your Great GREAT grandmothers! Not many people can say that they've done that. You are one blessed girl.

This is you the next morning, you were TIRED!

I loveeeeeee you!!
